Good to hear! If bmwwheels.com does nothing, I'm sure they wouldn't be able to sell a single set of wheel to any of E60.net members here

I received a call from bmwwheels.com today after I copied the parts manager on my last email.
They are allowing me to ship the old wheels back to them at their cost. I can leave them for UPS, who will ship them back. At the same time, they are ordering new wheels which will take approximately one week to arrive (2-3 days to receive in Arizona and 3-4 days to ship).
Everything sounds good so far. I asked about the other person on this site who also reported that he received a shipment without the double boxing. They told me that it was not my concern and that they wanted to help me....fair enough I guess.
I hope that it is in the stars that one day I will have fully functioning #166s.
I will keep everyone updated. Thanks for the support.

I am glad they followed through here. Why they aren't shipping in the correct manner is beyond me.

Hi monacobmw,
What tire brand are you getting? I don't want do destroy your day by mentioning the problems I had and still have with my Dunlop SportMaxx tires. They are vibrating as hell when the car has been parked overnight and I have to drive some 25 km's before the vibrations disappear (almost completely). So be aware of this type. I got new front tires but the problem is still almost as bad.
Regarding your unlucky experience with damaged wheels; I helped a friend out ordering 20" Porsche replicas from a company in Austria and we had the same experience as you. All four boxes were damaged and one rim was so heavily hit it received a seriously large bump. We are still awaiting compensation from the forwarder...
Good luck with everything - M166's rules!!

Just wanted to add my comments, I purchased 4 M5 rims from a guy in CA he used UPS and also used a UPS store for shipment, I was home when they came only three showed up and the other three came in this condition. The person who I purchased from now has a claim in but still has my money. UPS is useless they always try to blame the shipper in this case the UPS store advised me they were packaged bullet proof. Take a look.
