I just checked the delivery date for the wheels. It is 12/18. Am I being greedy to suggest that Chapman BMW should have made efforts to send the new wheels to me better than 7-day UPS shipping?

This means a two week delay from the time that I discovered and reported the problem to the time that I will have received the new wheels. In light of the three weeks that it originally took for them to send my first order after I placed it, this is a five week lag. When I placed the order, I only had 29 months left on my lease. Now, I will be down to less than 28 months.

In light of the fact that I work during the week, I will not be able to have the wheels installed until 12/23 (if the place is even open).

I told Chapman BMW that I would be reporting everything that happened here so all of my 5-series "family" could see how things were going. I really hope that I can get these wheels installed before the new year.
1 happy man for Xmas. that is good news. looks like the are a good shop after all

Be positive.

Less times you have to clean them!

I hate to disagree with you because ABC does such a good job, however, after all Monacobmw has been thru, I would hesitate to describe Chapman BMW as a good shop. This was a 5 week process and we still don't know what shape the new rims will be. Even if they arrive spotless, which I am sure they will, 5 weeks is too long for something that should have been done right the first time. Pinguhk you said "time is having fun." Five weeks is too much time and I am positive Monacobmw spent alot of his time trying to right this situation and not having fun.

I not a HK person so money is not 1st on my mind all the time like most people in HK. I dont have to be rich just right amount for me to buy a bmw to play with.
My mind is fun fun fun. you only live once.
5 week is a very long time and I had this done to me before that why I never buy big stuff on the net nerver again, you just don`t know what you are going to get at your front door, even they alway say 100% new and never been installed
I would phone the nerest shop and ask if they have it in stock, if so then I drive to them and get it installed. Now this is what you called save time and money and hasel.
well hope all gose well, good luck.

The wheels arrived yesterday via UPS. I was not at home to pick them up.
I have arranged to head over to UPS to pick them up tonight.

There are only two boxes in the shipment, which seemed strange. I thought that they would be sent in four boxes. I checked the weight, which is 50lbs per package, so I assume that there are two wheels per box.
Has anyone else had two wheels shipped in a single box, rather than each wheel double boxed separately?
