My car's been warning that my washer fluid is low for a couple of days now... So I tried to add more today only to discover that I could not open my hood. It pops up just fine when I pull the lever from inside the car. However, I cannot move the latch underneath the hood to open it fully.
Anyone have any ideas on how to get it to open? I'm going to try anti-seize spray/compound and see it that will help.

sounds like a plan, GL
It will not move at all? Or it moves and is ineffective? Make sure you are not pulling up on the hood as you apply pressure to the latch or it may catch and be difficult to move. Seems like an odd thing to happen - if it were my car, I would force it with leverage and then just replace the faulty part. You never know when you absolutely NEED to get the hood open now. The Jeep Cherokee on fine a few cars in front of me today knew that.

I was really worried that I had to "pay" a visit to my dealer.
