So, I notice that the right side of my hood is bouncing up and down while driving, specially in the freeway. The right side shuts tight and the left has some play in it. After driving in the freeway you will notice the hood is open a little bit and there is a gap between the hood and the headlight. Two people already stop my wife, telling her the hood is open but its really not. Im going to bring the car in this thursday for the recall. I was wondering, if I should bring it up with the service advisor and see if they could fix it. Hopefully, Its covered with the cpo warranty. Has anybody had this issue before? Let me know thanks.

There are 2 hooks with bump stops....Take the bump stop off and turn the hook a couple of times....This should pull the hood down more....Just do the side that is sitting up...Its really easy to do....Hopefully that will fix it....

When you say hooks, are does located closer to the headlight. Im trying to figure out what hooks you are talking about. Is it the ones mounted on the hood it self? thanks

Its not the one in the center...There is one on each side, can't miss them....They are oval....Pull the bump stop off and turn them a couple of times...Its basically a threaded oval hook that you can tighten....I would suggest doing only a few turns at a time...Keep playing with it until its good....

I had the same problem and fixed it by lubricating the latch. See here
