Hood emblem gone
Wife's BMW emblem on the front of the hood on her 530 emblem is missing. I see the replacement's are pretty cheap, but how do they stick on there? There's this waxy crap left behind where the old one was.
thanks as always!

It's just two rubber grommets that fit in the holes and the new emblem fits into the grommets. You could probably reuse the old grommets if you still have them. If not make sure you order new grommets when you get the new emblems. Also make sure you get the right size emblem as there are a few different sizes.
Also clean whatever waxy stuff that's on the hood before you install new one. Not sure what that could be.

One important thing when installing the new one:
Do not hit it with a rubber mallet you need to line up the holes with emblem posts and gently hit it with your fist or the palm of your hand! The posts break easily!
