Hi are you for real? I am interested, but would it be too harsh for my 525?

What's the fuel consumption now with your new wheels, how many litres/100km can you drive now.

Arrr...horrible. Averaging 14L/100km, and is around $1.75 per km. If it is pure city driving, it will be even worse. My typical tank will be 75% city driving and 25% highway driving (mainly to / from airport). A full tank can now travel around 420km.

Before the wheel change, it is around 12.5L/100km.

And the $/km price already includes a $0.80 discount per liter of gas.

But, damn it, it look so nice with the new wheel!
14L not too bad I am doing 16.8L on 90% city driving. Ever since mgmph1 said his wheels are for sale I have been considering the ride factor, fuel consumption and the tire doesn't last long on those rims as I think they are performance tires. If I buy his wheels than I might have to change them 2 year later (and that's very optimist) But the look of the M5 wheel is too hard to resist.

About 400km for a tank on mine! Primarly local driving, but swear to god, even if I don't drive Highway too much, I'll have the minimum traffic lights stop than anyone here... From my home to work, about 1/2 hour of driving, only about 1-3 red light stops... Not bad for local traffic, isn't it?

Yesterday, some idiot hit my car while they are changing lane and he refuse to pay for the damage when I told him I need to bring it back to BMW HK. He told me that shops outside would done the exact same job for less money, what a load of crap. My car only hit the road for a month and now this....

Oh No ! Did u insist on filing a police report and reserve the right to take him to court? I had a similar accident many years ago and ignorantly forgave my right to sue for damages. Then the guy refused to pay up and I had no police report nor case to go after him..... So I tell myself since then, if I ever get into a similar situation again, I'll be sure to sue his ass off regardless....

Sorry to hear your bad news, I feel your pain.

The first thing I got out of my car is call 999, than ask a police to come by. I try to talk to him but he is so cocky and saying that I didn't let him pass I am in my lane and his lane have construction up ahead so he should check to make sure he is ok before he pass. I have to go to the police station later and give a detail testimony I will tell the police I will sue him for his careless driving which resulted in damages on my car. If he is willing to pay for damages (repaint in BMW) then I might considering dropping the case.

That guy was a salesman in Richburg and he say stuff like I work in the industry and I know BMW is the same as shop outside and stuff like our used cars on display use those shops too and is as good as the original. Yeah right.. my friend brought a use car from them and the paint job is not as shinny as it were when he brought it only after a few days in fact after a few wash there are scratch marks revealing, so I don't trust those guys at all.
