Another quick update. After they fixed my squeaking breaks and wheels, the car is driving flawlessly. Gone a bit wild with my car the other night on my way home along deepwater bay road/ island road. It's a great twisting stretch with seaview all along. Those of you who haven't updated your software to 18.X should do so asap. It's a huge improvement over 17.X in terms of Steptronic smoothness and responsiveness. Im liking my car a little more these days....haha.

I am not sure what software we are running now, but you may try to access the hidden menu in i-drive, and see if you could dig out some information from there.

I guess we are out of luck for the MP3 playback on our cars. Since we only have the Radio Business, it will not support MP3 playback at all. Only the Radio Professional (standard on the 545i) can play MP3 after the software upgrade.

mic325

Can u tell us again how to access the secret menu? I hv a hard time remembering how many clicks left and how many clicks right....heh heh. THanks.

sliu_uu, in the secret menu you should be able to tell which software version your car has. Im not sure if I got updated to version 18.x or 19.x since I read 19.x is already out.

Cheers
