for sure if they asked me about mine, i will say yeah amg rear lip spoiler bought from Speedline (AMG HK),
or u can say m TRUNK SPOILER from bmw accessories shop, yeah and lost the invoice......
is it illegal to buy and fit accesories from the dealers???? if so we can get a refund for any accessory bought as it is illegal to fit it.
apart from the obvious like hid, cf aerofoils, even cf pillar stickers, how could they know mark's M5 calipers? apart from been red, they are bmw and the inspection guy has to be pretty clever
and have time to take it apart to say it is an m5 part.
if they did compare every part it will take them 2 weeks to finish each car.

anyhow just trying to "brainwash" myself that my car would pass................
what you planning to keep you car for over 7 years???
I what have any worry cos I will sell the car in 2 to 3 years time like my last 1
I never keep a new car for more than 5 years, dont forget we dont have that many 5 years to drive so better change car more and have more fun with it.

i heard that if u don't have a bridge for your brakes it is legal, so i reckon your bmw brakes are ok,
seeing as they sell them at the dealers anyway for retrofitting
having any bridge on any car is not legal, this is why I dont what to install AP cos all there brakes need to have bridge.
KC performance brakes dose not have a bridge I think.
Is this right KC?

I was one of those poor students who had to take my car for mot myself, the test centers those days just check main items such as chasis: corrosion and leaks from shocks, worn bushes, main electrics: lights r bright enough and point at the right direction, horn and wipers are working, brakes are strong enough. frankly I am surprised to hear mot in hk is so much stricter.
Yeah UK are not like HK at all.
I think in HK its just because the main man got kined from ICAC and that gov. just need to do something about it.
It some goes with the fire at MK, after they started to give tickets to the store

It's not a problem to drive a car for more than 7 years if you really love it. The funny thing is to learn how to keep the car in good function and performance.
