also all BMW price new cars will go up 5% too for the new year.
Huh, a 2009 525i = 280K ... ? car dealer's trade-in offer?

I found that European cars (esp. BMW) tend to depreciate much faster than before. Pretty much in line with Japanese cars now.

yes bmwhk
even if I sell it on my own I will only get about 330k that still is about 33% drop over 2 years
out side is about the same.
our LCI drop like hot cakes now that the 2.0 and 2.8 is out.
the 2.0 is selling like hot cake, when I was at BMWHK yesterday there were so many ppl looking at the F10.
I never seen so many ppl at the TKW showroom at a weekend.

the sales say if not a company car best drive it for other year or 2 then sell because the price will slow down a bit after the 1st 2 years.

the funny thing is my Stepwgn 2.4 still worth 190k after 4 years new was 280k, which is ok for a drop thats about 30k a year.

7 seater is more a necessity while people buy lux car when they feel they have $ to spend. last time i was at the hh car mall, 05/06 previa cost the same as 2/3 yrs ago.

might be the low trade in price from bmwhk also a factor on the 2nd hand bmw prices. mb offered better trade in price than bmwhk for my e90.

I never trust that price most of them are over price.
max for my car will be 350k if I am lucky

for my 525i trade in for the 520i is 280k which is very low but I know that BMWHK is the lowerest in HK.
Maybe I go to Audi and ask them and see how much they give me for the new A6
