once upon a time, I have one. But when I use it and leave it in my bed room, I always afraid it fails to stop and continue to wind wind wind.....It make me very nervous and I get up from sofa every 15 mins and go to check....Finally give up using it.

why a double watchwinder can't handle 45mm watches? does he mean the watches will touch each other?

It all depends on the owner's preference. Some say leaving the watch stopped for long time is not good for the lubricant inside (but watches in shop unsold are not running anyway), while some say leaving the watch running all the time speed up the wear and tear of gear chain.

A lot of perpectual-watch owner keep the watch running all the time cos setting a perpectual watch is a lot of trouble.

that's one reason why we should buy a better made watch winder. it gives better sleep at night.

I have many watches but I never use watch winder. Like ET said, unless you have a perpetual calendar or any complicated watch, I don't think it is necessary. Of course if you have a itchy ass, you may do so.

Went to Porsche today... checked out the new Panamera... i like!

Annoying thing is, they only have the base model to test drive, not the S or Turbo!!! Damnit!

1.5 year waiting list too...

They got a shop in harbour city, next to Marks n Spencers which sell ones like this... they got CF ones too!
