thats why the rear exhaust will need some bending work or just simply take out the rear bar. hmm, I wonder in terms of performance gain, is it better to keep the middle or rear?

if its under warranty, why bother. get bmw to fix it.

what rust proof products can be used on exhaust? if the material is indeed of poor quality, it will rust or oxidize from the inside anyway.

I want to clarify something before move ahead.
For the rear bar, the bar is placing "Above" the pipe, so I understand that using a longer rubber will lower the pipe; thus preventing the pipe to touch / hit the bar. This is fine.

However, I found that the middle bar is placing "Below" the pipe, if I use a longer rubber in the middle and lower the pipe (position 1 in the figure), it will squeeze with the bar harder. Did I misunderstand something?

if so then they have a blue 1 which I forgot if it is long or short.
I think the best bet is go to rainbow the exhausts experts and they will sort it out.

This situation happens if you let the car sitting more than driving.
But would like to see what BMW respond to this claim.

I think the oxidize is just the out side not in.
I have 2 cans of paint that will stop the oxidize or rust, but you will need to do aload of prep work before applying the paint.
I have put this on my brake disk and calipers on my last car and also the stepwgn.

Capt, so where to get a shorter rubber for the middle?

The ride this morning in Lung Cheung Road has actually created a lot of noise.
