My Ride: carbonized MB coupe
i only use wilson because i park there, i think KP and G are much better, at least they don't employ gangsters.
even the crappiest "waxers" always get some idiot's Ferrari in to do adverts.
once when i christened my Breytons, eg. wax them, i told them to be careful, and they said
"we know, we also deal with 50K wheels on Ferraris" wtf?

Keepre is good compared to the others, at least i trust them and let them wash my car.
We have so many supercars here in HK but no one seems to know what is car detailing, we are far far behind in this aspect.
I will definitely get this business started if i have the spare money..

I also saw a women driver letting some gangsters to wash her SL63 AMG with some wet tea towels, they also used the same towel on wheels too
I am dare to say no shops in HK knows how to wash a car properly, even Keepre. (But Keepre is the best wash in town i got to say)

glad you saw that point, i usually give 50bucks to the gangsta to use clean towels on mine.
they don't have water and use chemicals instead, that means rubbing and causing minute scratches.
i only get them to wax after already washed with clean water.
Glad you brought that point up Keith, you're the expert!

And i think your 50 dollars are well spend especially you have an expensive car and not the Civic.
I feel pain to watch everytime when people using the comtaminated towel "rubbing" on the painwork.
But Bill, i will still suggest you to find a shop who knows what they are doing, Keepre has shop in Wan Chai and you can have a go.

Yeah, i also have an interest in car detailing etc... but the lack of products and equipment we can get in HK is frustrating.
I wonder if you guys have seen this clip on Fifth Gear? It is what detailing a car is all about!!!

but for some reasons he was banned by the UK detailing forum and many other UK famous detailers dont like him.
His washing technique wasnt the perfect in the show, the car should be snow foamed (To eliminate dirts and grimes on the car) before he should start using the sponge, and should be using the two buckets method instead of one washing bucket.
Maybe this is why other pros think he shouldnt charge the sky high price for his technique

1)Hose down the car with water
2)Wash wheels
3)Foaming the whole car with their machine
4)Hand wash with Sheep matt (The sheep matt will trap dirts and reduce the chance of scratching the paint)
5)Blow all the water out using the air compressor (All gaps and wheels)
6)Wipe with clean "Micro Fiber" cloth (They using different colour MF cloth on different part of the car. e.g Body, wheel, interior)
7)Dry wheels and apply conditioner on tyre wall
It costs around 150HKD per wash for the mid size saloon, its expensive but i have no complain so far.
