One new member faced the Restraint System Failure (Passenger) as same as BMWNA recall.

http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Content/Con...taryRecall.aspx

https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showto...mp;hl=passenger

BMWHK of course said nothing and none of any need recall. Can Bill or Capt'n do something ?
I know about this.
I asked about this at BMWHK and they say our asia cars are OK

Guys, my rims have some scratches & dents on the edge. Do you know any tire shop (in Kowloon area) that can repair / re-polish them ? Thank you.

Few days ago, one of my tires was polked by a nail. So I drove to the tire shop across from Mega Box for checking. The mechanic said even after the tire was repaired, there is great potential it will leak again. He kept persuading me to buy a new set (rear two) of Dunlop SP. Cost is $1900 each. Of course I am not stupid and so I told him I will drive around first and see how it goes. Dropped off $60 and took off. Been driving for two days now and still OK.

I have heard from my car wash shop saying 軨師傅 is quite good, some of their customer get their cars done there, but not expensive too.
I dunno the address though and other info though.

Dont trust the tire shop, they just want you money!

bmw hk cars are the best, cos us HK people are very very picky, a colleague of mine has a 335i in Germany and it doesn't even have chrome
tailpipes, the finish was normal steel, look at the ones in HK, they always have shiny tailpipes.

USA market- well if the price is so low, then there will be marginal quality issues, like
if you buy a Hugo Boss suit in the store or get one in the "Hugo Boss Outlet"
there will be a marginal difference.
my nephew bought me one Burberry umbrella from an outlet and one from the store, the
store one was heavier and had a thicker fabric and stronger ribs, the outlet one was light and had aluminium and very thin fabric, need i say more?
i think this goes for cars, ever seen an Honda Odyssey made in Japan v made in China????

The nail was on the middle section where touching ground, not on edge. I probably will wait till the tire is completely worn before buying new tires. I am broke now.

I was talking to the tall guy there. Maybe in his point of view he is right. But I just don't want to spend another 4K now.
