My Ride: carbonized MB coupe
my front right oem shock was crapped out at 30km.
actually my bilstein and h&r springs are intact, no probs, just the thrust rods are cracked.
Bilstein, Sachs, Koni etc,. have all done oem for BMW/Merc at any one time for all models

KC is the devil in sheep's clothing!!!
Koni were the best in the 80's, now its nice to see them come back
i think Bilstein, Koni etc,. all make special models for special cars oem
as flagship models.
i think we discussed last year that just changing the springs and not the shocks will put pressure on other parts
of the car, but i changed both, but it seems maybe my wife ran at full speed over some speed bumps, mind you my H&R
springs are a bit on the HARD side, she also scraped the whole side against a parking pillar the other day

ouch, hope she didnt cause too much damage, but now you have good reasons to get the new f10 when it comes out. also apparently, pingy once told me going over speed bumps at speed will shorten the life of some parts in the suspension, think it must be the thrust rods.

I think Wah Leun in Mongkok is the distriubtor of Sachs. You can call them up to check.
I am using Bilstein PSS9 coilover (adjusted to level 7) with 19" wheels & nitrogen in the tires. So far not a complaint from my wife, kid, or my in-laws.

pss9 is definitely the grand daddy of coilover. do they come with lifetime warranty in hk? might be a good idea to do a search to see if there is any bargains around 1st.
