So I backed into a curb that had a nice 100+ pound decorative rock (which looks so much better now that it's about a foot from where it was originally placed? ? ).
Nobody was around to see me F-up so I guess that's good.

End result, I have a few issues with the lower bumper cover corner.
At least I managed to do it on the side that doesn't have the exhaust.?
Obviously there is some missing paint but along the part that is just behind the mudguard there are two places that have what look like dents.? (I know... it's plastic).?

I'm assuming that I need to replace the whole bumper cover.? Someone please prove me wrong on this one... Please... Please...

If I do need to replace the bumper cover:
1. Can I order just the M-sport cover?? Is it available in the US?
2. Should I stay with the factory one?
3. Should I brake hard at the next stoplight and have someone else pay for a new cover (just kidding).

And yes... I do have PDC.? Don't even ask?

Last week I locked the keys in the car while it was running.
This week I back into an F'n rock.
Can't wait to see what next week brings!?

Keep it dirty and you won't notice it.

Tough one realty. While you're shopping, wear the scar and tell the inquisitive that you were doing a No. 4 move on a guy drafting and trying to pass you in the turn.? Word will get around not to mess with, realty.?

Great idea... But they already know Not to mess with Realtyman!

Sorry to hear the news realtyman...

Don't you wish PDC would go into "full alert" later than it does?

You know, I don't even remember hearing it. Which means that I either shut it off inadvetently or I just ignored the tone.

Not me, I have a ten penny nail impression in my rear bumper where I backed into a wood fence in the red zone. It is hard for me to gauge 12" when backing at even 3 mph. Now when I hear the solid tone or see I have a sensor within the red, I stop. I think realtyman would have done better to stop sooner, too, not later.

Yup, just a little sooner would have been better.

Can just the lower portion be replaced or does the whole cover need to be replaced?

Regarding PDC, from the looks of the damage, I'm not sure that it would have picked up that rock realtyman.

I've noticed that the object needs to be taller or higher for PDC to pick it up. Either way, it's clear that you can't rely on it 100% to keep you out of trouble...

I had to drive up an angled 6" curb before I had the opportunity to move the rock! The rock was at least another 6+" high.
I really think it was a PICNIC scenario!
