My Ride: 2005 BMW 545i, Silver Grey, Sport Package, R. Shades, Cold Pkg, Sat. Rad., Prem. Sound.
I noticed a hissing sound (like some air hose is leaking) from 2k to 3k rpm at around 65 mph coming from the lower left leg area (driver door). It's not a door seal or anything like that. The slight hissing sound (radio must be turned down) ONLY occurs when I press on the accelerator to increase speed but not to cause a downshift or sudden rpm increase.
It feels like the bimmer is sighing at my driving habit and saying, "Step on the pedal harder buddy!" Anyways, it feels like I'm trying to speed up in m6 and not letting the computer downshift.
Any explanation is appreciated.
