I did not get home in time to call tonight. The dealer was going to check with Munich to see what 15 really fixes. He did say it would not be out until the middle of Dec. I will let you guys know when I know.

Version 15 is on it's way and should be at the dealers next week over here in Europe.
It definately fixes a problem version 14 caused, the FTM was too sensitive.
Anyways, I've got my car back and it works!
Seat heaters, AUX Input... everything fine. I plugged my DVD player in and played the Blue Man Group DVD The Complex Live... WOW... Great stuff! Great sound!
The delay was real bad after the first update and is now ALMOST as before. So I can not confirm the delay is gone (talking about both delays, idrive delays and gas pedal), but it's not worse than it was before my first update.
Everything seems to be fine! Unbelieveable, isn't it?
Got two coathangers now.
My tech checks if I can get an AV Input installed with my settop box (it looks like) and he even managed to hook my illuminated door sills up to the interior lights!!! (Wasn't easy since the interior lights are also on the BUS system, but he did it!!!). That dude is really good!!! Now they light up whenever you open the door, even when the engine is running!!!

I am lucky so far, I have v 12 from the factory and I am doing my best to delay an update. I am having no problems and want to keep it that way. That is why I am delaying the Aux. input.

I delayed my upgrade from 11.3, too, Kris. I think that is the way to go. Just look what happened when I upgraded. I lost 28 days with my vehicle for a very small gain in software. Now, I am down again (iDrive wise) after about a month. Before all of that, I had six months of bliss.

It's the little things that count. Sounds cool.
