My car alarm will not stop going off in hot weather!
I dont really care about the alarm, but I would like to lock my doors.
What fuse can I pull to disable the alarm?

i dont think its that easy, otherwise it'd be easy for thieves to disable your alarm.
i doubt there is a specific fuse, but check the fuses in the back of your glove box, and the other set of fuses in the trunk right side behind the carpet wall. the rear fuses list is in your tool kit.

i'd check your hood pop up sensor first.

What is the hood sensor?
Is this a common fix for people's alarm going off?
FYI. It only goes off in hot weather? - WTF?

the hood sensor is a common issue un some bmw models. its a black plunger switch that is right next to the passenger side cabin filter box cover. pop your hood, and look about 1 foot forward of the passenger side wiper. it may need adjusting, or a cleaning....or possible replacement.

dont our cars beep or flash the lights in a certain sequence when unarming the car, to let us know what triggered the alarm? or am i thinking of a different model bmw?

Hitting the lock button twice works!
Thanks!
