Default help brake wear sensor

i gotta 2006 bmw 530i and of course noticed by the dash the brake warning light was on and on the idrive it identified it was the rear left side and lifted the car, took off the wheel, then noticed there wasn’t even a sensor at all, later on i went to pick it up then got back and opened up the rectangular container up at the surface where the brake wear sensor connects to and then noticed the connecting part that connects to the sensor isn’t anywhere to be seen then i removed the fender liner to identify where the wire would normally come down from so now i’m having trouble find out where and how i could get back the connection that connects the brake wear sensor, thank you.

The connector s/b inside that box and you'll see a wire coming out. Are you sure you're on the correct side?

it’s the only small box container and there’s only one connecter but that’s for another thing but my brake connector or no where so i was thinking maybe it could be inside the car where the wire line goes through the car

That diagram is not for the brake wear sensor connector. It should be in the right-side wheel well. There is no way that connector can slip out of that box. If you don't want to take the tire off, you can just jack up the car.
