Thumbs up

Sucks..again...!

i start my car after without driving for a few days, yesterday, i heard that the starting engine sounds was a bit weird, not smooth and have a very "horrible" sounds...but it end up start and like normal, today, it happened with the sounds again and seems like it doesnt really starting and the lights are actually on and off, on and off....then it have a code said my "transmittion" have some problem..show as attached pic, then...what happen is..the car still drive like normal!

Tonight, i start it again, is kind of like...the battery dead, and all the lights are off, then...all in a sudden..seems like everything got reboot and the date and time , see attached pic, ........and it didnt start up the engine...and i have to wait till 5 mins..and it barely start the engine ....the car seems not as powerful as usual and seems like that i am driving a different car...

After i parked tonight, i start the engine again ...and again...it show my transmittion have problem, the date and time have to reset...and some information in my panel was back to "zero".....anybody know what had happen? is it just the battery dead..or is really my transmittion got problem?? i am ready for AK agian tomorrow...FXXK!!!

Wow, that could mean that you have a very weak battery that needs to be replaced or you may have a bad alternator that it is not capable of charging your battery to its fullest. G/L

Yup - Low voltage. The modules are all restarting because the battery voltage is too low. It's probably not the alternator though - just the normal poor driving profile (meaning the car is not driven enough to charge the battery).

Beware if you change the battery yourself. There's a "register" procedure that needs to be done that in effect tells your alternator that you have a new battery and it changes the way it charges the battery.
