Hard to think the e60 will look dated

I just saw a beautiful 750 today and I often mistake it for a e60 if I am further away since they do have the similar lines to some degree then I got thinking how the current 7 series is coming to the end of its run in this style and could not believe they have been making this model since 02 or 03 and to me it still is the sharpest looking big car out there and does not at all look dated to me and cannot imagine it will.
Something about previous bmws although beautiful were more boxy. With the nice lines of the current e60 it is hard to believe it will look THAT dated when the f10 comes out compared to now that the e39 looks quite dated. Even though dated a clean white or black e39 is still a beauty-not saying that-just saying it does look dated but I cannot see that happening to an e60.

I respectfully disagree. Good design is good design, regardless of it's age. In my opinion, the e39 is an excellent example of outstanding, timeless, design. Clean, muscular, balanced, elegant, organic, are all adjectives that come to my mind when I see a well cared for e39. It was, and continues to be, one of the best sedan designs ever.

E60 will not be date for a long long time, just look at other car make design they are all copying BMW e60. nice and clean lines.
ppl say it was ugly when it came out and I sayed wow I love it.
As for the e39 I think itis still a good looking car.

true, very true, i think this car will still be in fashion (as it were) even when the F10/F11 will be out, i mean there are many with the E39, that car still blends in even now over here in the UK, The E34 however is certainly dated.
E60 will be in homes for a long time, cause the car will last for sure, not sure on the electronics and so on though!!!!
