Time does fly!!!! My car has reached it's first birthday today. Exactly a year ago this was the moment I picked her up at the dealer.
Man, it looks like it was yesterday. I can even recall how happy I was that I finally got the keys!!!
All in all it was a great year and it is a perfect car. I had some trouble with my tires in the beginning but after a lot of hassle with my dealer it was solved correct. I've had a few updates of the I-Drive but that was mostly my own choice since I love to have the latest features in my car (perspective view etc. etc.).
Unfortunately I had an accident two weeks ago. But the car is going in next monday and I hope she will be fixed perfectly.
Normally I already get anxious for a new car after 1 year. I can tell you that in this case with this car the feeling isn't even coming up slightly. I love the car to death, it drives sportly and is well built. I think this one will stay around longer then 3 years. What else should I drive????
All in all I am a super satisfied custumer. The step up from a 330i Convertible to my 530i was a big one but looking back I am far more happy with the 530i.

I think it's safe to assume that the accident wasn't as severe as the one you had with the 330. Glad you're okay and glad to hear the car will be back to normal soon...

I'm glad you are having a good experience, Dennis. I remember your tire situation. I also had a bad experience with my computer, but after 16 months, my sentiments pretty much parallel yours. They are fine cars -- a good combination of luxury and sportiness.
