To the best of my knowledge there hasn't been a manual printed since 2004 and they still have the same psi recommendations.The new door sticker came out in middle to late 2004 with the 36-44 psi and the only psi on the sticker not like the old one that had a few psi's that you could go by.

Gee, dunno. My 2006 manual has lots of '06 specific information and tables with pressures for the 525i, 530i, 525xi, 530xi, and 545i. It's all very specific. The door simply lists one, but the manual has the "below 100mph", and the "light load above 100" in addition to the "heavy above 100" that's on the door sticker.

Yeah, I know I posted. I guess I don't put as much stock in the removal of the other PSIs from the door sticker as some people.

I personally think it happened because the Germans think we were getting too confused by the numerous readings and that we can't figure out how to undo the snap on the owner's manual caddy.


They've changed enough other stuff in the manual that I'd hope they wouldn't neglect something as important as tire pressure if they feel there is only one correct setting now.
