My car was built on week 27, I don't know what version of sw I've got but when tunning the radio on manual it first shows the frequency number and later the radio station name. How can I check what version I've got?

Yes, you can program the steering wheel button to mute/stop the cd player. I have programmed mine to mute the "tunes" and to shut off my screen. Welcome, by the way.

Hey guys, my car is an October 2003 built and it has always paused the CD player when I hit the button on the steering wheel or the one on the dash, so I dont think its a function introduced with V.12.

from what i remember, when i used to pause and come back to the song, it would be on a different song <_< Then i looked at the time when paused and the time kept going. I found it weird at the moment until i saw another post where the user described the same thing. Oh well...now that my CD pauses, i can drive with a little satisfaction

I've got Sirius, and the 6-CD changer. I listen to books on CD, so I put a set of 6 'book' cd's in the changer, and my favorite music CD in the CD player. When I get in the car, if I've been listening to Sirius, that station will be playing on my system. I can switch to the music CD or the 'book' CD, and they both pick up right where i stopped listening - so, I'm a happy camper with the latest software.

I've also programmed my steering wheel buttons to mute and 'phone list'. That works great too.

The "pause when muted" function worked with earlier software revs, was lost with later revs and fixed with v12.

Gotcha Hinckley!! I dont think I am gonna upgrade my software then...I can do without the additional headaches.
