Hi Stu, so far being getting low 30's mileage doing the same driving as my 328ci which could get about the same, not sure if this will get better or not.

The performance is putting a big grin on my face, I might just be getting used to the auto but I find the diesel is better at thrusting out of the corners than the 530i which always seemed to lag when you pressed the throttle.

It's been wet most of the time so I've not pushed cornering to much but did get a dry stretch of S bends and while I'm sure I wasn't anywhere near the cars limits the dynamic drive made the car feel on rails.

Since I got the dynamic drive but no active steering I had to put on the Servotronic steering. This makes the steering feel different to the other cars I drove and might be a part of what makes the active steering feel different, hard to put my finger on though.

Anyways the wait will be worth it, I'm going to see the dealer tomorrow and query the pixel, also the CD player is resetting to track one after starting the car so I'l point that out (looking around I think this is a known fault to be fixed with a software upgrade)

 

I wish the diesels came back to the US. That is great mileage compared to 15mpg I am getting with mine.
