Got the NCT5, and hate them. As lsited above.
Why can't you get a RF tyre with decent grip. They all seem to be made from hard rubber.

The stiff tyre wall causes a reduction in grip - especially in wet road conditions. Non-RF tyres have more compliant walls, enabling the tread to track the road contours better, hence giving more grip, even for the same tread compound.

UK TV is advertising the 'wonderful' Goodyear RFT as if it is the latest invention. Has anyone tried them? I'm totally fed up with the Dunlop & Bridgestone versions.
