If you'd read any of the earlier threads on the 545 tests you'd have found that the members whose results you are questioning went through some pretty extensive correction processes of their own before confirming their results. Grogan545 and Znod used similar techniques to those used by the magazine testers to adjust their results and typically posted both raw and adjusted data for review and scrutiny. At the end of the day no magazine tester had the level of experience with the 545 and it's 0-60 capabilities that these two members had.

With my enormous girth I bet someone in a 528 going in reverse could probably beat my 550.

How can you say that? Videos... numbers... etc etc just because you dont believe it doesnt mean its not true. There are tolls here that lie and BS all over the place but not grogan545.

Not to diss newbies, but You have NO clue on the background of senior members here, time wise and post wise... not necessarily age. I've been here long enough to know whos BSing and whos not. If Grogan had 17 post and a join date of 2/2/08 I would not believe him either but over the years you know who you can trust on the board, the way they talk the way they present the info and how they back up their posts.

well i didnt know about the lengths the 2 went with there 45's. but when i herd a stock 545 did 4.78 and mid 13's it seemed a little crazy, im not going to keep on this arguement with all 545 and 550 owners. accept bokke on the other hand. dont get mad because your outdated with your 545 that cant beat a stock 535.
its not even worth my time to line up with an 05.
and dont tell me to stfu, hold your tongue next time nerd

Check" www.dragtimes.com"Look under BMW 545 and you will find an NHRA cetified time of 13.64 @103.22.I did this run on a high humidity, low barometer day. Also note it is the fastest time for any 545 listed. If you take the time to search my posts or Znods posts you can spend several days reading and then decide if we are BSing.

Blah, blah, blah - whatever, by the way thanks for the PM - at least I post for all to read!

grogan545 - congrats, and we all look forward to your reporting. How many miles did put on the 545 and I am curious about your gas mileage from inception?

Nice to hear from you Bokke.I have 30000 miles on my car.I have a SUV for foul weather driving so the 545 gets treated with kid gloves.I have an overall gas mileage of about 21.3.I live in a rural area not city driving but not highway driving either. On interstate runs I usually get 27 to 28 mpg. This is at 70 to 75 mph.I have set the mpg to be accurate in the hidden menu. The factory setting was about 4% high.
