My thought is that the 335 saw the cop well before you did and was getting ready to laugh his ass off when the cop pulled you over, impounded your car and took you to jail!

No no, you guys read wrong. I said glad there was no cop as i was going 90 in a 45 at that point. I saw the back of his car as he turned at the next light, 335I.

Who knows what motor he had in it and I guess I may have been closer to losing than I thought, but either way I am 1 - 0 now and it was a great way to strat my day!

Just had my last two wisdom teeth pulled, so the days hasn't ended anywhere near how it began.....

NO you didn't! "Thank god there were cops sitting around as I hit 90+ before letting off the gas!"

Meh, less gas used at full throttle = less power, so it's good to be guzzling massive amounts during a race.

It's the cruising/part-throttle gas consumption that matters anyway, that's 99% of driving.

Someone with a trained eye could easily have figured out whether it was N54 or N55. However I agree with what I think is your gist: a race is a race - he could have had the V10 dropped in, but you won in any case.

nice kill!

My last race was with a new model 5.0 mustang. Unfortunately he was inching away... nothing embarrassing though I assure you! Up to about 80 mph, and he was about 1 length ahead at the end.

The one before that was a WRX (non-STi). Let's just say I felt bad for the kid....
