Good mechanic needed- Palo Alto Area

My Ride: 2005 545i, Orient Blue, Black Interior, Sport Package, Satellite
Good mechanic needed- Palo Alto Area
My 2005 545i has hit 110k, and I'm getting the following recommendations from my current mechanic:
1) replace all cooling system hoses after 100k ($1,200)
2) I have a slow oil leak somewhere, I'm adding about 1 quart oil every 7k miles. Needs to be fixed. Mechanic says timing cover gasket, vacuum pump, oil switch need to replaced ($1,500 estimate)
3) On last visit, he said rear breaks needed replacing even though the iDrive maintenance tracker said they had 7k left. (I did have these replaced.)
4) The car is starting to bottom out on speed bumps and when I go into driveways with a moderate lip, he suggests replacing not just the shock cartridges but the entire front struts (~$1,500)
Anyway, this may be good advice, but $4,200 is a lot so its worth getting a second opinion. If anyone can recommend a good mechanic in the south bay somewhere between Redwood City and Santa Clara, that would be great. Do these costs sound about right for these services?
