it's a piggyback ecu tune by Burger Motorsports. The JB4 replaces the popular JB3. More info here:

RE: Installation, there's a vid on the site above for install on a 335i, similar to the 535. One difference is if you get the pin-out version or the Plug n Play/PNP version. Install from what I know and read has a pretty good learning curve. You get faster the more you do it (since you'll be taking it off when going in for service).
Aside from piggybacks, ECU flashes can give you some great gains, not as aggressive as the piggybacks like the JB4, but still worth noting...
***Just an FYI: I returned my 535i to Center BMW in Sherman Oaks, CA yesterday. 23K miles, options and specs are in my sig. Not sure what price they'll be selling it at, but might be worth looking into for those in So Cal looking for a 535i....

Ohhhh, I bet this would be a great car to pick up..Too bad I don't live in So Cal...Would love to get a 535 (but prefer black) with that low mileage..

I love my '08 535 with the Dinan stage 2 programming. I can get 500 miles on a tank on the highway, and still smoke a 550. I love this engine, I just hope this third HPFP pump will last, but it is under warranty for a long time.

I got mine for under 30,000 with 27k miles navi, sports, premium, cold weather. 6 speed manual. CPO 2 years plus remaining 1 year. And 2.9% 60 months.
