saw your thread when you first installed it. Love the way your car look now but it's a bit out of my budget range, especially for my daily driver. Well that and the fact that my wife will have a cow if she finds out I'm spending more $$$ on the car.

I'd recommend taking apart the caliper and carrier for painting. Requires a little more work but sure worth the effort!
Red's nice, but add a little contrast by painting the clips (preferably) black. Here's mine done 3 years ago:

I painted my non big brake calipers red and I love the way they look against my alpine white. I say go for it too, you won't be disappointed.

What about caliper cover? I going to buy a set for $200 from Bavauto for my 545i They have it 3 colors with. I had black om my e46 and loved it much better look than painted. It really gives the calipers bigger look and is last longer. Easy to install. But I did not decide yet what color to buy I am thinking red. My car is black.

For 200, I don't think it's worth it. I rather use that 200 on cross drilled rotors, paint my calipers and apply the BMW stickers on, then call it a day but that's just me.
