My Ride: 2006 BMW 330ci cab - Jet Black - Black Leather - Premium Pkg - Sport Pkg - Auto - Heated Seats - Navigation - Xenon - Premium Sound - iPod - Bluetooth
Default

Test drove a 2007 550i (no sports pkg), 2008 535xi (no sports pkg), and 328i (coupe w/Sport pkg). All along my plan was to lease a e92 335 with Sports Pkg when my lease ended on my 330cic. But, after today, I am not interest in the e90 models, so I am in the market for a 550i or a low mileage 545i.

My only regret is that I didn't get to drive a 5-series with Sports Pkg.

I started my search on BMW USA's web site this afternoon for a 2006 or 2007 550i with Sports Pkg. I am attaching a PDF file of those available with less than 40,999 miles. I found several listed on the web site, but once I went to the dealer's web site the vehicle was no longer available.

Here was my criteria to make the list:
- sports package
- automatic
- less than 40,999 miles
- less than 1,000 miles from my home
- exterior had to be black, blue, or white

Would like your opinion on which one you would start looking at. Also, if anyone lives near any of these dealers and has seen the car, would you buy it? I am hoping to buy one by the end of the year so that I can get in on the financing incentives.

Hmmm, just when I have made a decision, I start to wonder if I should lease a new 535i.

BTW, yes, I now realize I am going to have to increase by desired low $30's price.

I'll also post on this forum under classifieds

Increase to what? That will help us find you a car in your range. And no exceptions to the color?

Call them and make an offerat Main Line Phola. I found them on a search. Do not know them. If they say Yes to 33k then enjoy the ride home. I drove it alot when I went to school in Ohio. The Color sounds intriging. Merry Christmas DTD

$36,000 is tops
One dealer has already come down $2,500 on the retail price.
Color: There weren't any Alpine White's available within my criteria. I really like Alpine White, but have always owned black vehicles. I would consider dark grey, but not silver. Sorry, I know a lot of people love their silver cars. This is why BMW makes color choices.

Nice car, and only 4 hours away, but I doubt he/she would want to come down $4,000 - $5,000. Also, wouldn't be able to take BMW F/S up on their financing offers.

Just ran some quick numbers, and the value of the BMW financing vs. current bank rates is worth $3,500 - $4,000 according to my math, so I would need to be able to purchase a an alike car from a private owner for that difference.
