wow, the 5 series is not an 'old people' car. whoever thinks of that is dumb

the 7 series, maybe. but definitely not the 5!

take a look at some of our members modded 5 and you'll change your opinion

Since you obviously like the M-tech bodywork, get the 550i ... just not in tampon.
hey, now stop it.. i love my tampon! shes a beauty!! on another note (thats a sick joke that went around the boards a while ago-dont take offense) lol.. i think if you want a 550 then hells yea its the way to go.. sport is great although i thought 08's and up came stock with the m-tech, so youll have to add that on,but we can help you spend your money wisely.. dont sweat it.. i think we just thought you were looking into lower miles..

He's wanting to stay in the low $30's.....I kinda doubt you'll find a '08 550 that cheap

Not sure if you are talking to me.....was just stating a point. He can certainly throw on an m-tech kit and some 172's to bring a 545i or older 550i up to date. That's what I'd do in his price range.

Test driving a 545i tomorrow morning. That's all my local BMW store has in stock with the Sports Package, a must for me. If I love it, I'll be on the hunt for the next two weeks for either a 545i or a 550i.

Just got a call that they sold the 545i with Sport Pkg , and all they have to sell is a 550i without Sport Pkg. I am going to drive it just to see if I can make the switch from a 3-series to a 5-series. I have looked at BMW dealers within a 120 mile radius on BMWUSA's web site, and no one has a 545i or 550i with Sport Pkg. Must be BMW recent financing offers on 2005 & 2006 has helped used car sales. Or is the Sport Pkg just hard to come by?
