Default Getting to the radiator drain plug

What's going Team Bimmer. Hope everybody's vehicle is running ferociously. I'm trying to drain the coolant from the radiator on my 2007 530i. How do I get to the drain plug? Seems to be a panel covering the bottom of the radiator when I looked under the car, and I'm not seeing where I can take that small panel off...thanks for any help...

On the passenger side end of the radiator there is a petcock valve; you should be able to access that valve after removing the bottom splash shield.

That valve tends to leak after using it to drain coolant. You will need to put new o-ring on that valve before filling up the system with coolant. If I were you, I'd just disconnect the lower radiator hose for draining the coolant.
