I'm currently driving a 2004 530i leased thru BMWFS, and I'm wondering:
1) Is the new V8 from the 750 going to make its way into the 5 and when?
2) If so, how do I jump ship on the 530 lease with 24 months left on it?
Any info for an new member would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Marco

to your second question, i'm no expert on this but I assume you can just do a trade and pay the additional money that the 550i will command. I'm sure someone who is actually leasing will be able to give you a better answer!

When you have a leasing it's never so easy to switch car before expiring date. usually it costs you some money as a penalty and you've to refund the whole sum in one solution, unless you can find out someone willing to take over your contract and is acceptable by the bank, of course. As I said, not easy, but it can be done.

Eh by the time the 550 comes out you'll have like 12 months left on the lease... might as well stick it out. Then you dont pay the penalities and dont have to pay the extra cost of having a early 550. (*ie no good discounts and no good deal*) when your 530 is up then go for the 550. By then it'll be a little easier to get a better price.
