I have 37k on the clock and I have had some problems with hesitation, misfiring twice and a funy sound with acceleration only and I have been going to Giant eagle to fill up the tank over the past 5 months which I know does not have the best detergents. I switched back to top tier gas at BP or chevron and added a chevron techron to the tank but I heard bmw does an actualy fuel injector/system clean for 200. Am I better off just tellin the dealer about these problems and letting them find it or potentially them not "finding a problem" and be left with the ongoing erratic problem. I am thinking it cant hurt to have the service but dont want to waste the dough either. Is 37k and 2 years old too soon for a service like this?
