I've noticed that when my ignition is off my fuel pump primes every 7-10 minutes. Or if I open the door after deactivating the alarm the pump also primes the fuel line. Is this normal E60 behavior?

My 2006 530 and my wife's 2008 328 do the same thing.

Mine does the same thing as well. I have asked the dealer about it and they have said it is normal.
