In Hong Kong with the gas prices at about US$1.6 per LITER (liter not gallon) where I live, anything but the cheapest available is just stupid.....

The reason it's so expensive is that the gov. charges a ridiculous tax (around 105%) on fuel in an attempt to force people to take public transportation.

Current Oil Price?

Government Excise Duty HK$ / Litre
Pump Price

(Ex. Duty) HK$ / Litre

Shell Pura Diesel 1.11 5.94
Shell Super Unleaded 6.06 5.78
Shell V Power Unleaded 6.06 6.56

Hong Kong current gas prices

You have to see to believe!!!!?

So, if your tank was empty you would expect to pay about $110 US dollars (+/- a few $$) depending on grade of gasoline. Yea gods, not a pleasant thought at all
