Hi - sorry me again, I have a fault with the front wipers not returning properly. Everything else works fine (auto rain sense, all speeds, both directions etc) - but this is the issue. Is resting way above the black area at base of screen and up onto the glass.
Any thoughts as to what this could be? Could it be wiper relay? (However, I thought that maybe the wiper action would be more erratic if the relay is failing).
Again, any help is really appreciated by me.

Is it wiping to far when on. Is this something new that started. Was work done on the windshield

Hi, thanks for the reply. I only bought the car yesterday and noted the issue after driving home in the rain, although the dealer said it had been adjusted. It has had a new windscreen previously as its a non BMW Pilkington windscreen. The wipers are working normally and do not seem to be working incorrectly and covering the right area, its just that the rest position is too high. I was thinking it could be a relay?
