I just bought a used 2007 BMW 550i and still getting familiar with it. The front passenger side seat leather covering is coming off from the front. I've looked at it closely and it seems to just snap or grab onto the frame underneath but its not taking. I don't know if this is going to get worst, but wanted to see if anybody had some solutions or maybe its missing a clip or something. I've include pictures below.
Thanks

I would just take it into a aftermarket upolshrey shop if the plastic clip is not holding before it gets worst rips or creases the leather they could probably fix it quickly even without an appointment

All you need to do is pull/stretch the leather do get good section of it in eyour hand, kneel on the seat to compress the foam and fold plactic trim inward. You do not miss any clips, this is how the leather is held on chairs. Fold and lock plastic strip against the leather itself. It will be comming off unless you compressed the foam very well for this step.

Was sitting in line at the bank today and was able to fix this while still in the seat. I found two metal hook type things near the front left and right corners of the seat. I was able to clip the end of the leather into these clips and now it looks fine.

I had the same problem on both front seats. There are 2 torx screws on the bottom of the cushion (T-25?). Take out the screws and then it is easy to see and fix. Heated seats also have a wire to unplug. I fixed both mine in 15 minutes. If they come out again I will take it to a leather store to apply a new plastic piece to hold the material in place. Sorry I did not take pictures.

Pull it down to the front and fold it back.
That's how BMW does it. It is just folded under the front of the seat.
