I'm also a bit surprised at how a lot of you don't let your friends drive your car. Its just a car! Friends are forever.

I've let friends drive my Porsche and I've driven other ppl's Ferrari, 6 Series, and S Class to name a few. I think its fun to get behind the wheel of different cars and see what they're like.

Ya if they want to be my friend forever then dont ask to drive my car.

Well none of my friends have cars I want to drive... if they have a decent one in exchange to let me drive then I'll re-consider.

Porsche Turbo you say? Ok!! Then you can drive mine...

I'm always upset when my friends don't drive my car as hard as I do. They always drive it like a granny and I think, "what the hell are you even driving this thing for?"

Ditto

what would possess you my friend to let some else drive your ride. Its a real bummer, hope you get your baby repaired soon. Make sure that undercarriage is not bent. Good luck to you.

I am shocked to see that all of you guys don't let your friends drive your cars . Me and my friends do that all the time. Actually any new car is subject to a test drive no matter how its owner feels. It is the friendship rights .

ro11dice,
There is nothing wrong in letting a friend drive your car. One day he might be on the passenger side, and you might get a heart attack while driving. You will never make it then unless your friend drives you to the hospital and you will be grateful that he drove for you.

And don't let your friend get a feeling that you're angry at him, or that he did something terrible to you. I am sure that he did not mean to destroy your car, he just mis-judged the turn and had an accident. Reckless? Yes. But is it worth losing a friend? Definitely not.

The car will be repaired and will be just fine. It will just cost you (or his insurance) money. Friendship is much more than just money. Money comes and goes, while true friendship lasts forever.
my sentiments exactly!! I got 2 best friends and I'm sure they'll drive, it's not a matter of if as I view both of them as my brothers. Would you ever tell your brother that he can't drive something that's not alive and can't save your life?? (and I'm not talking about DSC and all the other tech gizmos in the car, I'm speaking of after)
I'm just glad to see you're alive and well, I remember being in a car accident, broken arm, bad back, knees hurt in the winter I feel like I'm 80 in a 22 years olds body. I can't lie though I would be absolutely distraught @ 1st sight like I was when I saw your picture.

Off the topic, ro11dice, I love your avatar picture! That looks just like my little boy!
tab545, that's my little girl!

Spoke with the SA this morning after they put her up in the air. In addition to the previously mentioned items, there was damage to the left front rotor, left front caliper, some ARS components, and the sway bar. Damage to the front bumper and left side skirt...possible m-tech kit replacement? SA assured me that after speaking with the techs she will be restored good as new.

Downside: I prolly won't get her back until mid-Jan.

Hey, is your daughter Asian . . . since she looks Asian and most Asians have their dishes on the counters . . . just like if you see shoes outside the door, it's most likely Asian homeowner.

It looks like your suspension is seriously jacked. Sorry to hear about the accident.

Haha you asked if his daughter is asian... meaning ro11dice might not be himself?

Eh... Guess She can be a mix...
