Freezing Feet! Heat Problems'
Hello,
New 2008 528xi owner here. I searched high and low and can not find anyone with my same issue. I have heat set to all red bars and temp at 90, tried auto and manual. The windshield vent and passenger face vent are the only ones producing heat. Driver face vent and both feet blow cold air! I changed force for each vent, closed face vents to see if it produces heat elsewhere with no luck. My drivers window and feet are extremely cold.
Any suggestions? Only had the car two weeks.
Thanks in advance.

How cold is it outside when you have no heat? I had a problem when the temps were below about 20F. I flushed my heater coil and check the valve unit for operation. I had no issues with both. I found the problem with the design of the car and the lack of flow. I corrected it with a small piece of flashing and have great heat now!

After reading your post more, it appears that you have either a malfunctioning solenoid on the drivers side or a clogged drivers side heater core. Just to confirm, it is the drivers side you only have a problem with, right?

No threadjack intended here.
I have the same issue....only it is no heat on my driver side period. Been shutting it off on the driver side and blasting the passanger side because I honestly don't even want to know what it is going to cost me to even have it looked at...

There is a dial on the I-drive that let's you adjust the area as well as how hard AND how hot you want it to blow. I noticed that even at 80 degrees it wasn't as hot as it gets when I put the heat to blow against the windshield. This is what I'm talking about. Make sure this is all the way up. I realize you may already have done so, but it's a place to start...
