James, I wouldn't worry too much about trying to get all these obscure options to work. The fact that there's some new option for traffic reporting that is greyed out is most likely something that won't be useable no matter what your screen says.

It seems to me that there has to be some sort of traffic reporting signal standard present in your city. Do we even know if that's happening where you live?

You're right. I don't think it's available in Atlanta anyway. But it's just frustrating that no matter who you call you get a different 'non' answer. That's all. Everyone contridicts each other. I'm so thankful for this forum. You guys are the only ones that I 'trust' for information.

One of the things that really attracted me to this car was the fact that it was a 'gadget car'. I'm a gadget kinda guy, so all the iDrive functionality was REALLY Cool.
