Armor-All now makes a Wheel Protectant which you spray on after detailing the wheels. It repels brake dust and really prolongs cleaning; great stuff!

thanks man because i was having a hard time finding the Wheel Wax. i mean i could have ordered it online at like a jillion places but i am one of those people who like to drive to this thing called a store and just buy it then and there.

i have seen that Amor-All Product in my local stores often. the Wheel Wax appears to be the preference amongst the elite though.

My wife teases me because I buy everything online. I've gone so far as to purchase plants online and have them shipped to me.

i just got my car back from the dealer as i had it detailed. now don't freak and think i am either crazy or rich because they were running a full detail special for $99. i noticed after driving for a couple of days there mysteriously is no brake dust on my rims. so obviously they must have treated the rims with something. remarkable.

Nano sealant perhaps? I keep hearing that stuff is amazing - and potentially a hazard to your health!

Wheel wax is a GREAT product and I didn't beleive in it at first but it works and works well, it doesn't however prevent brake dust from occuring. CERAMIC brake pads work extremely well. Before with stock pads I could drive 18-36 miles and had to clean my wheels. I installed Centric Posi Quiet Ceramic pads a couple weeks ago. Since then I have driven about 150-175 miles and I see "NO" brake dust whatsoever. The old finger test provided a very light dust and I mean very light.....
Cost: $84.86 for a full set (4-wheels) w/free shipping. I run these on all my cars and have no complaints.

that's a great price.

i've driven over a hundred miles and still see no brake dust with whatever sealant/protectant the dealer used on my wheels.
