Flickering I-Drive while stop

My Ride: 2004 545i with 325HP 6 speed Steptronic trans with DVD NAV, Heads Up Display, Logic7 sound system, Rear sunshade, Sport Package....

Earlier this afternoon I was pulled over for speeding, after stopping I put the car in Park then I notice the strangest thing, the I-Drive screen started flickering and the RPM gauge was going up and down around the 1000 RPM range. I got nervous and turn the car off but left the key in the on position where the I-Drive would stay on and then I got a message on stating the Battery my may running low. Not sure what one has to do with the other but I figure I ask the experts before calling the dealer.

Say thing happend to me, but the ABS/DSC Failure light went on..I checked the battery and it seems to be ok..I'm taking it to the dealership tomorrow.Let you know what they say.
