hi.

The engine fault light appeared on my dash the other day. I took it to dealer and diagnostics showed up no issues. They reset my ECU to get rid of the warning light which is fine. But it's wiped out my DMS remap. I tell you what, BOY CAN I NOTICE THE DIFF. 2nd gear is just flat compared to when the DMS remap was in there.
Good news is that when I called DMS y'day, Mike Cooper said no problem remapping it for me again, and will send a technician out to my drive next week.
Fantastic!

I'm getting more convinced every day to get my car DMS'd too, despite being a little unsure how it will affect my warranty (I have a CPO car, which came with a BMW CPO 2-year warranty). Decisions, decisions.

If I recall correctly, DMS will re-map for no cost after you have had a Progman update or ECU remap by a dealer?

correct .. no cost remap. my car has been done for almost 2 yrs now and has been in to dealer for regular servicing. It's NEVER been detected as DMS promised. Go for it.

and you'll really notice the upgrade on your 530D
