Hello all,
my E60 525d SE Saloon has the ski hole in the rear seats. Looking through the options, this is only available as part of the through loading system. Is this correct and if so, how do I get the seats down? I can't see any levers or the usual catches.

Thanks,
Joe.

Look in the boot towards the ceiling, you will see two levels on either side. The seat can only be bought down via the boot.

Thanks - I'll have a look tomorrow. If it has the ski hatch - should it have the through seats?

Im sure that in earlier E60's you could have a ski hatch without folding seats. I'm in the UK and do seem to remember the ski-hatch option being separate to fold down seats.

Looking in the manual, I think it must have it as it has the clip for the seat belt in the parcel shelf. I didn't know what that was for but the book shows it as part of the system.

Looks long winded though just to drop the seats!

Just a quick post - the seats do come down so poss on an 06 if you've got the ski hatch, you've got the system. Piece of cake to put down - found the catches on the boot roof and done. Looks hard work in the manual - typical!
