When you initialize the system, it does take quite a while to become active. Mine can take 10 minutes or so of driving once the system is initialized. And yes, you do have to drive the car around because the system use sensor on the brakes to gauge wheel spin.

I think it is based on a minimum distance or number of wheel revolutions which are required to initialise the system.

Hi, you've probably gathered from the other posts that you are missing an important step of the process. Let me guess, you are switching on your ignition/engine, hitting "reset", then walking away and waiting. I did the same thing just last week. Left it for 2 or 3 hours. Then realised that after hitting "reset", you are meant to drive the car Unhelpfully it just sits there and says "initializing". Would have been so easy for them to make it say "initializing, please drive car!!".

I, too, believe it must be based on number of tire/wheel rotations. If I set it when I air up and drive 25-35 mph around town, it seems to take forever (probably only 10 minutes). If I do the same and jump on the highway going 65-70 mph, it seems to take only 3-5 minutes.
