Just want to ask you guys with the Active Headlights, do you really see better with it?

I think it is a great feature, but to be honest, 95% of my driving is pretty much straight and/or in the city, where the active headlights don't come into play. When I do get the chance to be out on a dark, twisty road, they are very nice to have.

fyi - dealer tried to fix it as part of the SW update to 19 - this worked for a day and now the flashing light is back?

My dealer tried that with v18 too. I told them I didn't believe the sw would fix it as it seemed more a physical thing (e.g. failed motor) but they insisted on trying it first! Only a new headlamp will do!

Adaptive headlights are a superb feature. Definitely worth it.

They are definately worth it. I tought it was just some kind of gimmick but it sure isn't. I miss it when I drive my wifes car that doesn't have it.

When they're working!

Seriously, it's true that you really miss them in a car without them!

OUCH :'( :'(

I agree though - a very nice feature, especially on winding country roads at night.

Combined with full-beam it's better than driving in the DAY

Yes, they are great and I truly appreciate them when they work. The flashing LED means they are not working. I have made several trips to the dealer and still no joy. They work intermittently. The dealer has changed a headlight, the brake light switch and god knows what else. The challenge for them is that the system does not give them much information about the fault.

All I know is that I miss them turning with the steering wheel, look down and sure enough the LED is flashing.

Honestly I can't tell the difference while driving. I test it periodically to make sure they are working while I park my car in the garage. But when I am driving, I just can't tell.
