First delivery at the BMW Welt

I was at the Welt at 07.15 this morning fulfilling my official duty as official first customer. Amazing place. Even more amazing than I had thought during previous visits before deliveries started today.
Car is great - wood all matches nicely. Love it. More photos to follow but for now...

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets.
First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.
Congratulations! I just read an extensive architechtural article about it in the brand new magazine "Vogue Men" which is chockablock with high-end Euro stories and ads (Maybach on the back cover); so this piece was no surprise to me. I just assumed--in terms of magazine article publication lead times--that the place had been open for some time, even though no one had mentioned it.
That you got to be #1 is really quite special. Best wishes with the newest version of my car. (What transmission did you get?)
